ROBERT IRVINE

Chef Robert Irvine goes where few chefs dare. He flies on a moment's notice to cook for heads of state, the fabulously wealthy and for charitable causes around the world. He is equally at home preparing his stunningly creative dishes for intimate gatherings or for huge crowds, from 6,000 servicemen and women on a US aircraft carrier to a spectacular celebrity-studded after party at the Academy Awards. Master Chef, entrepreneur, author and restaurateur, Bobby Flay has called Robert Irvine, "The Indiana Jones of chefs!"

As host of Food Network's hit series Dinner: Impossible!, he is challenged every week to travel at a moment's notice to cook in a limited amount of time at an unknown location for an undisclosed event with no idea where his kitchen, his equipment or even the food will come from! He has cooked on a deserted island, in an 18th Century kitchen, in an Ice Hotel, for cowboys on a cattle drive, for master instructors at the CIA and at the Inauguration of Pennsylvania's Governor, under the most grueling conditions and all without any advance warning. Dinner: Impossible!, now in its third season, is one of the most highly-rated shows in the history of Food Network.

A native of England, Robert Irvine joined the British Royal Navy at the age of fifteen. He served with distinction in many postings and as a chef to the Royal Household for ten years. Schooled by master chefs and in the kitchens of Britain's Royal Family, Robert Irvine has transcended the limitations of recipes and rote techniques and come up with an approach to cooking that is uniquely his own. In over twenty-five years in the culinary profession, he has served his dishes to royalty, presidents, prime ministers and celebrities, cooked his way through Europe, the Far East, the Caribbean and the Americas, in hotels and on the high seas, from the five-star kitchen of the world-renowned cruise ship Crystal Harmony to Donald Trump's Taj Mahal, where he served as Executive Chef.

Robert Irvine has served his creations to numerous US presidents as a special culinary envoy to the White House. He is an author, whose first book, "Mission: Cook!" was released by HarperCollins in September, 2007. He has his own line of signature Royal Titanium products on Home Shopping Network, and is about to open his first two restaurants in early 2008, Ooze and Schmooze, at a magnificent waterfront location in St. Petersburg, Florida. He has been named 2007 Culinarian of the Year by the American Culinary Federation
